Ninja Saga Guide

Welcome to Ninja Saga

Ninja Saga was Emagist's turn-based ninja RPG on Facebook (2009–2020): make your own ninja, pick your elements, learn jutsu and fight your way through missions, from Genin up. Emagist closed the web version when Flash ended. L.O.S runs Emagist's last web client (version 3.3.00810) on our own server, written for it from scratch, and keeps your ninja on your L.O.S account.

Getting in

  1. Get the L.O.S launcher from losfarms.xyz/launcher. It has Flash Player built in.
  2. Sign in with your L.O.S account and pick L.O.S Ninja Saga in the games hub. There's no separate sign-up.
  3. Make your ninja (name, gender, hair and skin), then choose your first element. The tutorial fight teaches you jutsu, charging chakra and attacking.

Playing

  • Battles are turn-based: use a jutsu (costs chakra), attack with your weapon, Charge to get chakra back, or Dodge. Your speed decides who moves first.
  • Missions (from the mission board in the village) give XP and gold. XP raises your level; gold buys weapons, clothes and jutsu.
  • Elements: fire, water, wind, earth and lightning. Each level gives points to put into your elements, and each element has its own jutsu.
  • Ranks: a Genin can reach level 20; the exams to become Chunin, Jounin and beyond lift the cap.

Saving

Everything is saved on our server as you play: each fight's XP and gold, what you buy, learn and equip. Reloading or signing in on another computer picks up where you left off.

What's different

  • Nothing is for sale. The token shop buttons open a page that says so.
  • Facebook features (inviting friends, posting to your wall) don't do anything.
  • Some features of the original servers aren't back yet: see What Works Right Now.
